REGISTRATION FOR THE 2010-2011 LTPY PENGUINS WINTER SWIM TEAM WILL
BE HELD AUGUST 10TH THROUGH AUGUST 20TH,
2010.
Please review the
steps to complete your registration as the process has changed this
year.
PRIORITY REGISTRATION
SWIMMERS
(those who participated in our
2010 Winter or Summer Champs)
1.
Complete Swim Team Forms: Health
Form, Waiver and Code of Ethics available at the YMCA Front Desk
between August 10th and August 20th.
2.
Pay
Priority Registration Deposit of $125.00 per
swimmer by
August 20th. If
you have more than one swimmer in your family, you may contact
Jodye Carman at the YMCA for a deposit payment
plan.
Registration is not complete until Steps 1 and 2 are complete. Payment will not be
accepted until Swim Team Forms are complete. Priority registration swimmers
must complete swim team forms and pay registration deposit by
August 20th or swimmer becomes an Open registration
swimmer.
OPEN REGISTRATION SWIMMERS
(new swimmers and any swimmer
who did not participate in our 2010 Winter or Summer
Champs)
1. Complete
registration form available at the YMCA Front
Desk.
2.
Sign your swimmer up for
an assessment. There will be a sign up sheet at
the Front Desk when you complete the registration form. Assessments will be offered on
August 16, 17, 18, 22 and 23 at various times. If you are unable to attend one
of these dates, contact Coach Chris. Swimmers that participated on the Penguin Swim
Team within one year do not need to sign up for an
assessment.
3.
Open registration
swimmers will be notified by August 24thif they are on
the team. (If total
team registrations exceed team limit, a lottery of open
registrations will be conducted).
4. Once you are
notified your swimmer is on the
team, open
registration swimmers must become a member of the LTPY YMCA, complete the Swim Team
Forms (Health Form, Waiver and Code of Ethics), and pay
registration deposit of $125.00 by August 31st. If you have more than
one swimmer in your family, you may contact Jodye Carman at the
YMCA for a deposit payment plan
The 2010-2011 LTPY Winter Swim Team
Program begins October 4th and runs through mid-March. Program fees are based on
assigned practice group that will be determined later in
September. GOOD NEWS:
The program fees remain the same as the 2009-2010 season. For example, if your
swimmer is assigned to the Rockhopper practice group, you will owe
$115.00 (the difference of $240.00 less registration deposit of
$125.00).
